At the back of the bottle, complete information about the ingredients used, quantity and the base material is printed.

This is very important information, especially when it is about buying baby’s skin product.

Rich with Natural Elements

This oil has been made using many other beneficial oils such as Jojoba oil, almond oil, sunflower oil, mustard oil and cow’s hatred, wheat germ oil and chamomile oil.

Apart from these, this oil is Vitamin-E enriched.

So, it would not be wrong to say that for an infant’s massage, this is an unbeatable option.

Completely Ayurvedic

As I said earlier, most of the other products available in the market are made of harmful chemicals, which can damage the skin of the child.

However, in case of Patanjali’s Shishu Care, you should not be worried about it as it is a completely Ayurvedic product. Although in order to make it aromatic, the artificial fragrance is mixed in it, it is very light and barely bothers the kid.

Earlier, I had used Dabur Laal Oil too. But I had an unpleasant experience as my baby had rashes. I am not saying that Dabur Laal Oil is not a good option, but it was definitely not compatible with my baby’s skin. Compared to other products related to baby’s massage, Patanjali’s Shishu Care Massage Oil is easily available.

You can also get it from any chemist shop, Patanjali store or even from any grocery store.

Old Stock (sometimes)

Because this product is highly demanded, shopkeepers often stock it in abundance. There is a huge possibility that you may get months-old packing of this product. This happened to me as well. Although this product is considered being suitable for use up to 24 months of packing, still months old packing is a decision changer.

That is the only negative according to me.

According to some people, Patanjali’s Shishu Care Massage Oil is not a heavy oil. That’s why some people do not consider it right for children under one year. But, according to me, I would prefer to buy Patanjali’s Shishu Care Massage Oil and not those so-called branded heavy oils that are a mixture of harmful chemicals.

The way of doing massage, however, can be different from everyone. But, the method I use for the massage of my baby is as follows –

1. First of all, make sure that the room in which you are going to massage is warm and at the right temperature. This will not disturb your child while massaging.
2. For massage, any time is fine, be it before the bath or after.
3. Always use soft-hands for massage. Keep in mind that excess pressure can cause discomfort to the child.
4. Trim your nails before the massage, in case you have long ones. It can cause serious damage to the child.
5. Keep in mind that during the massage, your child should not try to suck your fingers. Keep your oily hands and finger at a distance from his mouth.
6. If your child does not any signs of discomfort, then you can massage for up to 30 minutes.
