What role do diapers play in the first three years of the infant, we have already learned from our previous articles. Earlier in the series of pant-style diapers, we had reviewed Pampers baby dry pants and Patanjali baby care diapers. Continuing this series, today we will review the
Things that I liked in the MamyPoko Pants Standard
Its packing is very simple, but impressive.
On seeing packing, you will understand that the company laid special emphasis on diaper’s capacity to keep wetness far longer.
On the right side of the packing, you will see company’s claim to keep the wetness dry for 10 hours.
To the left of this, you can see the information about the size of the diaper you purchased.
In addition to its’ price and ingredient related information on the back side of packing, you will see two very important details, as well.
Information about available sizes of
I really liked the graphical representations of different size diapers.
Just below that, you will see the information about how to use and change it, in case of need.
I must say, on the packing you will find every piece of information that you need to know before using this diaper. The best thing is, most of the information is available in two languages; Hindi and English.
My first impression about
You will see blue lines on the front side of the diaper.
The main purpose of these blue lines is to separate front side of the diaper from the back side.
In simpler terms; blue lines indicate the front side of the diaper.
You won’t see any such lines on the back side of the diaper. Hence, no confusion about the sides. I am happy with the paper quality used for the diapers.
For the absorbent pad, pulp, paper, and polymer have been used. If the polymer is a new thing to you, then I would like to tell you that polymer is a non-toxic powder, which helps a lot to keep moisture away from the skin of the child. Furthermore, the polymer is considered completely safe for young skin.
The inner surface of the diaper is very soft. As I mentioned above, the inner surface of the diaper is made of paper, pulp and polymer and all of these ingredients are good for your baby’s skin.
The absorption capacity of this diaper is amazing.
I tested it with saline water.
Right after pouring some (saline) water, the diaper took less than 30 seconds to absorb and in less than a minute, the inside surface (of the diaper) was completely dry.
Fitting is fine
This is another thing that I liked the most in this diaper. I had some size issues with the pants styled diapers that I used earlier; large was too small for my kid, and extra-large was too large.
However, I faced no such troubles with

Ease of wear
Pant style diapers are easy to change as it hardly takes a minute or two.
At the same time, to change the diaper, you can either take off like a pant or you can rip it off from the side.
Be very careful, while doing so. You need to be gentle because you don’t want to hurt your baby.
Available in different sizes
Therefore, before purchasing, I suggest you do a little search on the internet, as it may get you an opportunity to have good discounts. Hopefully, you know that buying bigger packs online saves you much more than buying a small pack and from a local chemist shop.
Things that I did not like in MamyPoko Pants
The elastic band is very tight
The elastic band used in this diaper is very tight.
I am not very happy with the elastic band.
And, I believe, a wet diaper is going to cause discomfort to the baby. Once wet, this diaper is going to be heavier and once it gets heavier, it is going to be tighter.
Protection from the elastic bandage
As I said earlier that this diaper bents downward once wet, hence, the elastic band gets tight. Now, as there is no paper layer that can reduce the inner pressure of that tightness, the child has to deal with related discomfort.
However, a paper layer will not only lock the wetness around the legs but will also save the child from having any kind of marks on his skin because of that tightness.
The texture is a little fluffy
As I said earlier, if you compare the design of MamyPoko Pants with other diapers of similar sizes, then you will notice that this diaper is little fluffy.
From here, you can imagine how heavy it will become after being wet.
Become heavy after wetting
I tested it with saline water.
Compared to other pants styled diapers,
This causes a lot of discomfort to the baby.
Due to this heaviness, I personally experienced incidents of leakage, as well.
So far, we have known that diaper gets heavy once wet, hence, you need to change it quite often. Due to this heaviness, babies do cry a lot. The only solution to this problem is, changing the diaper as quickly as possible. And, this is going to increase both consumption and expenditure on this diaper.

Overall, my experience with MamyPoko Pants was just fine. Due to the drawbacks such as heaviness, safety layer, etc. I am not completely satisfied with this product.
