my baby is just 25days old and she doesn’t drink her mother’s milk properly. So we started with Cow milk in small portion and now the portion is gradually increased.
However, weight is constant.doctor recommended to start feeding nan pro 1.
I am worried as I read the product contains Soy lecithin which is not safe for infants.
Kindly advice.

Cow milk is not recommended to new born at all, cow milk can be started after one year only. Newborn can’t digest cow milk and that could impact their immune system as well kidneys. Please stop giving cow milk immediately. If your doctor has recommended nan pro 1, you can start and there are another options available like lactogen 1 or similac 1 but please consult with your doctor before you start anything because digestive system of every baby is different. Thank you.
