Can we apply almond oil on one month old baby’s head?

Hi, I have a month old baby and I would like to know if I can apply a very tiny amount of almond oil on his head especially the centre soft part of it , as many people around are advising me that doing same will be one of the beneficial thing to do to strengthen that area. I am personally little doubtful as I feel applying any kind of oil on baby’s head will unnecessarily cool down his body temperature and may cause him cold-cough. I stay at Mumbai and we have very humid weather

Heartiest thanks for your reply. I would have applied using a soft cotton slowly but I rather wait for a few months to do so. Also I really liked your this Q and answer forum/chat box.
