Dear reader,
Your question is not clear. Can you please specify, which particular hospital are you talking about?
However, for your information, we would like to mention that the registration method of each hospital is different. If you choose a private hospital, most of them have package system. They ask you to register when you first reach them in the early stages of pregnancy. Undoubtedly, their packages are expensive. There are some packages that are for both mother and child, and this includes all medical tests, medicines, room rent, etc. before and after delivery. But, a few things such as the cost of any major operation (if required), the treatment of common birth-related problems like jaundice, etc. are not included in this package.
On the other hand, we have government hospitals, as well. They too ask you to make a medical card, when you first visit them. Hope you know, you don’t have to pay much for the pre-natal or post-natal medical tests. In most cases, delivery is free. Even in case of any major (pregnancy-related) operation, you won’t be asked to pay a big amount. For this reason, Government hospitals are overcrowded. I must say, if you choose government hospital, you may have to deal with a few things, but at the end, it is all about the right treatment and a healthy baby. Isn’t it? The only problem is – you need patience.
