When it comes to child’s health, as a parent, we would like to give them the best of everything. Whether it is television, newspapers, magazines or road-side hoarding, every second commercial is about a kid’s product associated with his physical and mental development. But, the point, whether these products are really of any use or not? Keeping these questions in mind, today we will talk about a few energy boosters you must give your child and a few that you must avoid.

Therefore, it becomes your duty as a parent that you must encourage your child to at room temperature.

Milk

Then, come milk. Milk for children is the second best beverage because it contains lots of vitamins and minerals and milk does not cause dental caries. Children under 2 years should be given skim milk because they are already on a varied diet.

If the child does not like the taste of milk, then you can add flavors like vanilla, strawberries and so on. Keep in mind, after mixing these will increase the sugar level. So, you must not give these in excess. You must limit the consumption of these up to two servings a day, and mixed milk must be accompanied by a snack.

Fruit juices

Keep in mind that your baby may show signs of unhappiness after having this home juice for the first time. You may have to try multiple times before you can make your baby accept this experiment.

Why homemade juice? The only reason is – in homemade juices, there will be no adulteration. But be very careful, like fruits, you can expect high sugar levels from fresh juices. Therefore, consumption should be limited to up to two servings a day.

Canned Juice

Many people prefer offering canned juice because they feel that the canned juice is much better. But do you know that there is a big difference between canned juice and real juice and canned juices are not at all similar to the real juices?

Don’t you believe me? Ask yourself a simple question.

Have you ever wondered, how come each box of a canned juice delivers the same taste? On the other side, when you squeeze oranges at home, sometimes you get a very sweet juice, but sometimes you get sour or bitter?

To understand this thing in depth, you have to understand the formula for making a canned juice.

In the case of industrial orange juice, the oranges are first squeezed, the resulting juice is stored in huge containers where the oxygen is extracted, allowing the juice to last for a year without altering itself. This procedure also has a great dysfunction: the juice remains practically without any taste, so the producers add flavors to the pack to get orange juice again.

Although every canned juice manufacturer claims that his juice is 100% real, yet, in reality, they are nowhere close to the real juice. Have you ever wondered how come the taste of the same juice, but from two different brands vary?

The only reason is – Every brand has its own formula and taste. No wonder, why these companies never tell us what they have added, when they say – added flavor. And, despite knowing that fact that they have nothing to offer than sugar, we love to have these canned juices. However, for the betterment of kids, we must not serve our kids with these juices.

Carbonated Beverage

Be it, kids or youngsters, we all love to have carbonated beverages. Hope you all know that these beverages are among the other main reasons for obesity and increase blood sugar levels. Fruit drinks, cola, sports drinks are all very low in nutrients, but rich in additives and if sweetened with sugar instead of artificial sweeteners, have a lot of calories.

So you must not use serve your kids with these carbonated beverages.
